Annita Larissa Sciacovelli is an Associate Professor of International Law at the University of Bari Aldo Moro (Italy). She is a member of the Advisory Board of the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) and serves as Co-Rapporteur of ENISA’s ad hoc group on the “NIS 2 Directive: Post-Implementation”.
She is also a member of the Defense Innovation Office under the Chief of Defense Staff of the Italian Ministry of Defense. She teaches international cybersecurity law at the Italian Institute for Advanced Defense Studies (IASD) of the Italian Ministry of Defense, at the Italian School of Economic and Financial Police “Guardia di Finanza” in Rome, and at the Cybersecurity Course held by the Italian Cyber Police.
Professor Sciacovelli sits on the Advisory Board of the International Institute for Peace in Vienna (Austria) and is the Scientific Coordinator of the Center for International Legal Sciences and New Technologies at the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio.
She serves as Vice President of Global Professionals for Artificial Intelligence (GP4AI), and in 2023, she was awarded the title of “Professional Woman in Cybersecurity Europe 2023” in Paris by CEFCYS – Cercle des Femmes de la CyberSécurité. She has published extensively on international and European cyber law.
